EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max vs Jackery HomePower 2000 Plus v2: a weekend of essentials
We may earn a commission from links on this page, at no extra cost to you. How we make money.
Short answer: Both store the same 2,048 Wh and put out 2,400 W, so runtimes match: about a full day of fridge plus essentials, and around 29 hours for the fridge alone. The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max is the lower price today; the Jackery HomePower 2000 Plus v2 can grow much bigger, up to 12 kWh.
Watts vs. watt-hours, in one minute
Watts (W) is how hard something pulls power right now, like how fast water flows from a tap. Watt-hours (Wh) is how much is stored in the battery, like how much water is in the bucket.
Runtime ≈ battery Wh × 0.85 ÷ watts used. The 0.85 covers energy lost turning battery power into wall-outlet power. Example: a 1,000 Wh battery running a 60 W fridge lasts about 1,000 × 0.85 ÷ 60 ≈ 14 hours.

Common questions
How long will 2,000 Wh last in an outage?
Running a fridge, Wi-Fi, a couple of lamps, phones and a TV (about 135 W average), roughly 13 hours. The fridge alone, about a day and a quarter.
Can these run a sump pump?
Many 1/3-1/2 HP sump pumps can need about 2,000 W to start. Check your pump's label against the station's surge rating, and test it before storm season.
Can I plug it into my house wiring?
Only through a transfer switch or inlet installed by a licensed electrician. Never backfeed through a wall outlet.
